Reporting a problem? Include these details

A few details help us fix things quickly:

• The page where it happened.
• The city you searched for, or whether you used your location.
• Your browser and device, such as Safari on an iPhone or Chrome on Windows.
• What happened and what you expected to see.
• A screenshot, if you can attach one.

What we can and cannot help with

• We can help with how our forecasts and tools work, explain what the numbers mean, and fix errors.
• We cannot give personal forecasts for a specific night or trip, or guarantee that aurora will be visible. The forecasts are estimates built from public space weather and weather data.
• For safety or severe weather, follow your local emergency services and national weather service. We are not a warning service.

A note on safety and privacy

We will never ask you for a password or for payment details by email. If you write to us, we receive your email address and the message you send, and we use them only to reply. Please do not send sensitive personal information. For more detail, see our privacy policy.
